Spencer Wrenn
Spencer first found dancing doing the Texas Two Step in Hurricane Harry's, College Station during his freshman year at Texas A&M. Back then he was just getting into country music and dancing was just a way to meet people, nothing he looked at too seriously. After moving to the east coast upon graduation in 2020, Spencer realized how much he missed Honkey Tonking when he couldn't find any in North Carolina that didn't only line dance. It wasn't until March of 2024 when Spencer discovered Inspira Country Nights that he was able to enjoy partner dancing again. Since then Spencer has been all in, beginning to volunteer with Inspira only a few months after, eventually becoming the lead volunteer, and finally a common face on the instruction staff of Inspira Country Nights.
While he knows Country Swing, Spencer's true passion is Two Step. Spencer works on his two step constantly, bringing the knowledge he learns from various large names in the community (Ellis Permann, Clay Morrison, Haley Skredsvig, Forever Country, Red Dirt Dancing, and more!), home to our local community to spread the love for Two Step! Currently Spencer spends a lot of time preparing for competition on the Country Two Step Tour (CTST) around the U.S. However, he also loves welcoming in new members of our community, growing the love for dance, and helping everyone feel confident enough in themselves to try something so difficult as a new hobby. Please ask him to dance at one of our country nights and join in the journey to "Make Two Step Great Again!"
