Code of Conduct
At Inspira Dance, we are committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment where everyone can learn, dance, and connect safely.
We believe every participant deserves to feel comfortable and respected, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or dance experience. We have zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, bullying, sexual misconduct, or retaliation.
Our Community Expectations
Everyone participating in our classes, socials, workshops, and events is expected to:
Treat others with kindness and respect.
Respect personal boundaries and consent.
Accept "no" gracefully. No one is ever required to dance or partner with anyone.
Use appropriate physical contact that is consistent with instruction or social dancing.
Follow instructor and staff directions
Help create a welcoming environment for dancers of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Respect the physical space of the studio (ie; not leaving trash or damaging property, messing around with sound equipment)
Reporting
We encourage you to report any behavior that makes you or someone else feel unsafe or uncomfortable at any of our events, including:
Bullying or intimidation
Discrimination or hate speech
Sexual harassment or unwanted advances
Inappropriate or unwanted touching
Threats or violence
Any other conduct that negatively impacts the safety of our community
If you're unsure whether something should be reported, we encourage you to reach out. We'd rather discuss a concern early than have it go unaddressed.
You may report a concern if you experienced an incident, witnessed one, or are reporting on behalf of someone else.

While we take all reports seriously, Inspira Dance is not a law enforcement agency. If you believe a crime has occurred, someone is in immediate danger, or emergency assistance is needed, please contact your local law enforcement agency or call 911 before or in addition to submitting a report to us.
What Happens After You Submit a Report?
When we receive a report, we will:
Review the information as promptly as reasonably possible, and confirm receipt of the report.
Contact you if additional information is needed.
Take appropriate steps to help protect the safety of those involved.
Conduct a fair and impartial review of the available information.
Determine appropriate action based on the facts and the severity of the situation.
Confidentiality
We will make every reasonable effort to protect your privacy. Information will be shared only with those who need it to respond appropriately and investigate the concern. While we cannot guarantee complete confidentiality, we are committed to handling every report with professionalism, sensitivity, and respect.
