Regina Sica

Regina may not come from a formal dance background, but she’s always been the first one on the dance floor. She discovered country swing during a spontaneous summer night out at a country bar in Atlantic City, where a dancer from Arizona spun her around - she was instantly hooked. Since then, Regina has jumped headfirst into the country swing competition scene, quickly placing and winning Jack & Jill competitions and progressing from novice to intermediate/advanced levels. She travels frequently to compete, take workshops, and train with top professionals, bringing that knowledge back to strengthen and grow the local dance community. She’s also expanded into West Coast Swing and Two-Step, blending styles to deepen her musicality and versatility as a dancer. As an instructor, Regina loves balancing solid technique with fun, approachable drills that help dancers truly feel the movement. A former bodybuilder and current group fitness instructor, she has a deep understanding of how the body moves and excels at breaking down complex concepts into clear, digestible pieces. Her teaching style is friendly, upbeat, and welcoming to dancers of all levels, especially beginners and those brand new to partner dance. Known for her musicality, smooth flow, and lighthearted humor, Regina creates an encouraging environment where learning feels both productive and fun. Don’t let the sassy hair flips and big dips intimidate you, she loves to dance so don’t be shy to ask her out on the floor!
